ORDER

Heard, Mr. P.Rajendran, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar, Standing Counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

The petitioner has filed this Writ petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider his representation made on 04.01.2018 to the respondent ventilating his grievance of non-promoting him from the date his juniors were promoted.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, and considering the limited nature of relief sought for, this Court disposes of this Writ Petition at the stage of admission without seeking reply affidavit with a direction to the respondent to take an informed and considered decision on the representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 04.01.2018, in accordance with law, if the same is still pending within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, provided there is no other legal impediment. It is made clear that this Court has expressed no opinion on the merit of such representation of the petitioner in any manner. No costs.
