Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 27.11.2017, 15.06.2018, 27.11.2017, 27.11.2017 respectively on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the letter (Ms) No. 105 dated 13.06.2014 passed by the Principal Secretary to Government, Public Works (C2) Department, Chennai - 9 modifying his order passed in letter No. 13465/C2/2011-8 dated 22.05.2013 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. COMMON ORDER Heard, Mr. G.P.Arivuchudar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. R.Ganesh Babu, Standing counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Since the issue involved in all these four Writ Petitions are identical in nature, with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, they are taken up together for disposal at the stage of admission.

The grievance of the petitioners, in these Writ Petitions is towards non-consideration of their representations made on 27.11.2017 and 15.06.2018 ventilating their grievance for release of the monetary benefits accrued to them in pursuance of One Man Committee's report, which have not been addressed to by the first respondent yet. Hence, they have come forward to file these Writ Petitions seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of their representations within a time bound manner.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and gone through the material on record. Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioners, this Court disposes of these Writ Petitions at the stage of admission, with a direction to the first respondent to take an informed and considered decision on the aforesaid representations in accordance with law, if there is no other legal impediment for such disposal within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has expressed no opinion on the merit of the such representations in any particular manner. No costs.
