These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking for a direction directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2018 for convening timing conference to fix Timing to the 2nd respondent buses.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner is a stage carriage bus operator in Karaikal, and operating the buses on the interstate routes between Karaikal to Tiruchirappalli, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai and other places. Now, the 2nd respondent Transport Corporation operating buses on the petitioners routes on tentative times and operating times are identical to the petitioners timings. Hence, they have made a representations to the 1st respondent to convene a timing conference on 14.06.2018, but, so far, the representations are not considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. I have heard the rival submissions and perused the records carefully.
4. On considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petitions, without going into the merits of the case of the petitioners, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioners representations and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioners and the 2nd respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
