PRAYER: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to provide adequate police protection for ingress and aggress of vehicles and people from in and out of the factory premises and further vacate the trespassing workmen by ensuring that no striking workers assemble illegally in any form within the radius of 200 meters from petitioner's factory premises namely Vadagai Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, Pursuant to the complaints of the petitioner dated 10.09.2018, 21.09.2018, 22.09.2018 and 23.09.2018 submitted to the first respondent. O R D E R

When the matter came up for hearing during the last occassion, this Court passed the following orders: "It is reported by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 10 that the strike has been recalled and the workers have returned back to work. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the management wants to assess the situation for a period of two weeks before taking any decision.

In the mean time, the interim order already granted is extended till 28.11.2018.

Post the matter on 28.11.2018."

2.In view of the fact that the normalcy has been restored and the workers have returned back to work, no useful purpose will be served in keeping this writ petition pending. 3.In view of the subsequent development, the relief sought for by the petitioner is no more available.
