Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus direct the respondents 1 & 2 to produce the petitioner's daughter, namely Manikka Vidhya, aged 23 years, in person before this Hon'ble Court and set her liberty from the illegal detention of the third respondent and forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J] Petitioner, who is a father of the detenue viz., Manikka Vidhya, aged 23 years, sought production of his daughter.

2. We have heard learned counsel for petitioner as also Mr.R.Prathap Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 and 2.

3. Petitioner is present before this Court. The detenue has been secured by the police at Thiruvannamalai and handed over to the second respondent, who have placed her in a Home and had now caused her production before this Court. Petitioner/her father as also her mother are present before this Court. Both parents as also the detenue informed intent that matters be not precipitated and that the detenue return to the parental home.

4. Recording such position, this Hebeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed.
