NO.665 OF 2012), NAMAKKAL DISTRICT.

Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Criminal APPEAL No.395 OF 2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence made in S.C.No.35 of 2016 on the file of Court of Sessions (Fast Track Mahila) Judge, Namakkal, Order dt.19.6.2018 and release the petitioner/Appellant/Accused 1 on bail, pending disposal of the above Crl.A.No.395/2018.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.395 of 2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of MR.ARUMUGA RAJAN .P. Advocate for the petitioner and of MRS. V.SARATHA DEVI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This miscellaneous petition has been filed to suspend the sentence passed by the learned Sessions (Fast Track Mahila) Judge, Namakkal, in S.C.No.35/2016, dated 19.06.2018.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the deceased had committed suicide due to dowry harassment. Therefore, she prayed for dismissal of this miscellaneous petition.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence and the submissions of the Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for in this miscellaneous petition and the same is dismissed.
