Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned notice in Na.Ka.A1/2463/2017 dated 20.10.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and forbear the respondents from interfering with the petitioner's Association peaceful possession and enjoyment of land to an extent of 2.5 acres in Sy.No.289/4, of Ariyalur south Village, Ariyalur District.

When the matter was listed for hearing on 02.01.2024, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 04.01.2024 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. Again, when the matter was called on 04.01.2024, there was also no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In order to give one more opportunity, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list this matter once again under the caption "For Dismissal" on 08.01.2024.

3. Even today i.e., on 08.01.2024, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition in W.P.No.25664 of 2018 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
