Prayer: Civil Revision Petition filed Under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to issue a direction to dispose of R.C.O.P. No.1449 of 2017, pending on the file of XII Small Causes Court, Chennai, within a limited time.

The limited prayer sought in the present Civil Revision Petition is for a direction to the Rent Controller to dispose of the petition in R.C.O.P.No.1449 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible.. 2.On a perusal of the adjudication orders, it is seen that the petition stands posted for cross-examination of PW1 even on http://www.judis.nic.in

M.S.RAMESH nsd/vji 10.04.2018 and after that there is no much progress. In view of the same it would be appropriate to fix a time limit to dispose of the main petition.

3. In the light of the above observation, there shall be a direction to the learned Rent Controller/XII Small Causes Judge, Chennai, to dispose of the proceedings in R.C.O.P.No.1449 of 2017 within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition stands ordered. No costs.
