This petition is filed to condone the delay of 12 days in filing the appeal against the judgment and decree dated 19.07.2018 made in M.C.O.P.No.58 of 2016 on the file of the Family Cour, Karaikal.

2.Mr.S.P.Vijayaragavan, learned counsel submitted that he has filed vakalat for the respondent.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 12 days is condoned and the petition is ordered.

5.Registry is directed to number the appeal if it is otherwise in order.

6.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is directed to serve the typed set of papers to the counsel for the respondent.
