When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents that the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition seeking counting of 50% of service rendered on daily wage basis for the purpose of qualifying service for the grant of pensionary benefits was positively considered by the respondents pursuant to an order passed by Madurai Bench of this Court in W.P (MD) No.2354 of 2010 dated 05.02.2018 and also placed before this

Court the relevant proceedings bearing Letter No.P4/8096/Pen/HO/2018/ dated 30.05.2019.

2. In the light of the above, in the considered view of this Court, the cause arose in the Writ Petition does not survive and the same is accordingly closed by duly placing on record the above said proceedings bearing Letter No.P4/8096/Pen/HO/2018/ dated 30.05.2019.
