O R D E R

The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.14086 of 2016 dated 15.04.2016, in which this Court directed as follows:- "Considering the facts and circumstances of

the case and considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation, along with a copy of this order, by enclosing the necessary documents to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same the respondent is directed to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders/take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the necessary parties, if any, within a period of six weeks thereafter. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner and it is for the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner strictly on merits and in accordance with law. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs".

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent. It is further submitted by the learned counsel Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent that the respondent

has passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner and produced a copy of the rejection order in Na.Ka.No.A2/1422/19, dated 22.05.2019 passed by the respondent.

4. Since the order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent, nothing further survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition, which is accordingly closed. However, it is made clear that it is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to seek necessary reliefs if he is so advised, in the manner known to law. No costs.
