ORDER
By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioners have come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to issue patta to the petitioners in respect of their property situated at Annur village, Avinashi Taluk, Coimbatore District, within the time limit as fixed by this Court.
3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners have submitted a representation dated 28.02.1997 claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court.

4.Mr.J.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the respondents be directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass orders in accordance with law.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and as the fate of the representation is not known to either of the parties, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such filing, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks thereafter.
6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
