This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2018 and pass orders.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is residing in Lakkapuram Village, Modakkurichi Block, Erode District and a sewage canal is running along with the road in front of the petitioner's building. Now, the sewage water drainage has been blocked and over flowing. Hence, he made a representation to the authorities to clean the sewage. But, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleaders appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought in the writ petition, the second respondent/Block Development Officer is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2018 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
