O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2018, for the payment of enhanced compensation.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's land was sought to be acquired under the National Highways Act, for the purpose of widening the National Highway No.205, from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Alamelumangapuram to Pakkam village. An award was also passed by the competent authority on 12.12.2012 and 13.05.2014. Thereafter, on 15.03.2017, the petitioner filed a application before the District Collector/1st respondent, under Section 3-G of the National Highways Act, for an arbitration proceedings seeking enhancement of compensation. Subsequently, a remainder was also sent to the 1st respondent on 19.06.2018, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
