PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records and to set aside the order dated 27.06.2018 in C.M.P.No.380/2018 in C.C.No.312 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Magisterial Level at Thiruvallur.

ORDER

This Court by an order dated 08.10.2018, in Crl.OP.No.23268 of 2018 and Crl.M.P.No.13011 of 2018, while dismissing the quash petition, directed the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level, Thiruvallur to complete the trial within a period of two months.

2. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level, Thiruvallur has sent a letter stating that learned Judicial Magistrate was recruited in the year 2019 and took charge on 19.06.2019 and relieved on the same day for training in District Headquarters and Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy, Chennai. After undergoing training, took charge as Judicial Magistrate in Fast Track Court, Magisterial Level at Thiruvallur on 16.03.2020 and seeks for extension of time for further period of four months to complete the trial.

3. Considering the letter sent by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level, Thiruvallur, this Court grants further period of four month to complete the trial from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
