This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to Crime No.1 of 2018 dated 01.02.2018, on the file of the 1st respondent police and to quash the same.
2. On the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.1 of 2018 on 01.02.2018, for quashing which, the petitioner/accused is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/accused, who submitted that the accused has had financial dealings with the de facto complainant, for which, there are sufficient documentary evidence and the de facto complainant has distorted the civil case as a criminal case.

However, on a reading of the FIR, it is alleged by the de facto complainant that the accused represented himself as a Veterinary Doctor and has also submitted bogus documents to show that he was having egg supply contracts abroad. In such view of the matter, when there are prima facie materials in the FIR, it is not a fit case to quash the prosecution at the threshold. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as being devoid of merits. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
