Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider, dispose of and pass orders on merits on the representation of the 1st petitioner dated 07.08.2018 to reconvey the land comprised in Survey Nos.94/7B and 94/7E measuring an extent of 24 cents situated at Pennadam Village, Vridhachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District in the name of the petitioners as per the provisions of section 48-B of the Land Acquisition Act (Amendment) Act, 1996 (Act XVI of 1997).
