ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN J.) The petitioner has filed the writ petition to direct the first respondent to initiate enforcement action against the illegal construction put by the second respondent. 2.

The Assistant Commissioner, Zone - 14, Chennai Corporation filed a counter affidavit indicating that notice has already been issued on 20.10.2018 under Sections 56 and 57 read with Section 85 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971. follow up action will be taken in case it is found that the second respondent is not in possession of sanctioned plan.

3. The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the first respondent to take action against the second respondent on account of her illegal construction. The Corporation has already initiated action. It is for the Corporation to take up follow up action, pursuant to the notice issued on 20.10.2018. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to take appropriate follow up action after issuing notice to the second respondent. No costs.
