O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.785 of 2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent police to the CBCID, Chennai.

2. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the police have registered a case in Crime No.785 of 2018 on 19.04.2018 under Sections 294(b) and 307 IPC. While so, not satisfied with the progress of investigation, the petitioner is before this Court for a change of investigation.

3. Heard Mr.P.Pugalenthi, learned counsel for the petitioner, who submitted that the petitioner suspects the involvement of his wife along with her paramour, in the attack.

4. In the opinion of this Court, the interests of justice will be fulfilled, if the Assistant Commissioner of Police, incharge of Mangadu Police Station, is directed to closely monitor the investigation in Mangadu Police Station Crime No.785 of 2018, being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Mangadu Police Station, Chennai.

Hence, the above direction is issued and the investigation in Mangadu Police Station Crime No.785 of 2018 shall be completed expeditiously. Accordingly, this petition is closed.
