Prayer: This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent's proceedings Na.Ka.No.13438/C2/E3/2013 dated 24.09.2013 of the Joint Director of School Education (Service Wing) Tamil Nadu, Chennai - 6 and the consequential order made in R.C.No.00033/B5/2015 dated 05.01.2015 by the 4th respondent to quash the same as illegal and unjust and unconstitutional with a direction to respondents 2 and 4 to give promotion and entire service benefits to the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner challenges the suspension order as well as the charge memo.

2. The learned State Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the suspension had been revoked and pursuant to the charge memo, enquiry was conducted and punishment of deducting a sum of Rs.500/- from the pension amount for a period of 11 months has been passed. 2/4

3. In the light of the subsequent developments, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous, as the petitioner having retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation, had received the pension and pensionary benefits.
