This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 24.05.2018.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner had applied for license to open Pawn broker shop at No.1, Brindavan Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Neyveli, Kurinjipadi District before the 1st respondent on 24.05.2018. Pursuant to which, though the 1st respondent sent a letter dated 29.05.2018 to the 2nd respondent, seeking for certain details with regard to, whether there is any criminal case pending against the petitioner and is it safe to open a pawn broker shop in the above said area, there was no response from the 2nd respondent. Further, no action has been initiated by both the respondents in providing the petitioner with license to open pawn broker shop, despite the reminder letter dated 01.08.2018 sent by the petitioner. Hence, this Writ petition.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 24.05.2018 and pass orders on the same as early as possible.

Upon receipt of the said application, the 1st respondent shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks thereafter, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and the aggrieved persons, if any.
