ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.M.L.Ravi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Niranjan Rajagopalan, learned counsel for the first respondent.

2. It is submitted that an amendment has already been made under the Election Laws (Amendment) Act, 2021 and the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960 are also amended. Circular No.23/Inst./2022-ERS, dated 04.07.2022 is also issued with regard to the linking of Aadhar number with electoral rolls and voters list.

3. In the light of that, the relief claimed does not survive. As such, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.30502 of 2018 is closed.
