This petition has been filed seeking to transfer investigation in Cr.No.336 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thalaivasal Police Station, Salem District to the Inspector of Police, Attur All Women Police Station, Salem District or any other police Officer.

2. The petitioner's daughter went missing and therefore, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Cr.No.336 of 2018 was registered on 12.09.2018 for "girl missing". It is the grievance of the petitioner that investigation is not proceeding on the right lines.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. It is seen that the petitioner's daughter was in love with one Ranjith Kumar and she had gone away with him. The police have secured the petitioner's daughter and she is now with her parents.

5. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court is of the view that interest of justice will be served if the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Athur Sub Division is directed to monitor the investigation in Cr.No.336 of 2018 that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Thalaivasal Police Station, Salem District and accordingly it is ordered.
