Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Prohibition, prohibiting the Labour Court, Salem from hearing the R.E.P.No.195 of 2015 for the computation of appropriate wages payable to the respondent for the period from 01.05.1997 to 23.08.2008, based on the award passed by the Labour Court, Salem in I.D.No.76 of 1996 dated 30.04.1997.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Prohibition, prohibiting the Labour Court, Salem from hearing the R.E.P.No.195 of 2015 for the computation of appropriate wages payable to the respondent for the period from 01.05.1997 to 23.08.2008, based on the award passed by the Labour Court, Salem in I.D.No.76 of 1996 dated 30.04.1997.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to prohibit the Labour Court, Salem from hearing the R.E.P.No.195 of 2015, however, R.E.P.No.195 of 2015 has been allowed by the Labour Court on 12.10.2018 and hence nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.
3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
