..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to include/add the petitioner's daughter's name as "A. Janani" in the register of birth of the respondents pertaining to her daughter's birth on 03.12.2003 and also in her daughter's birth certificate No. 53 dated 03.05.2005 and consequently to issue the corrected birth certificate within a period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Mr.J.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 30.07.2018.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 30.07.2018 to the respondents, claiming to include the name of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's daughter as A.Janani in the birth certificate, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, submitted that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
