O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to collect the property tax from the petitioner in respect of his patta land in Old S.No.390, New S.No.A7/85 of Vellai Goundenpalayam, Dharmapuri in Door No.104/A, 104/C, 104/E, 104/F, 104/G, 104/H and 104/I, Pennagaram Main Road near Four Roads, Dharmapuri, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2018.

2. It is claimed by the petitioner that he is the owner of the subject matter property for which, the property tax is to be levied and collected from him.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that inspite of repeated request, the second respondent is not collecting the property tax from the petitioner even though, the property tax has been assessed for one year only namely, first half of 20022003.

4. Since the petitioner has already made a representation to the respondents on 19.02.2018 and 27.08.2018, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the above said representations and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of personal hearing to all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
