By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to register the Settlement Deed at his private residence, within the time frame.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is a chronic paralyzed patient and also suffering from cancer, now, he is counting his last days, hence, he decided to settle his properties in favour of his wife, son and grandchildren. Therefore, he has submitted a representation dated 11.09.2018 to the 4th respondent requesting to register the settlement deed in his residence and the same is pending without consideration. Hence this Writ Petition.

4. Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader [Registration], who takes notice for the respondents, fairly submitted that the 4th respondent is ready to register the settlement deed on production of medical certificate of the petitioner and other original documents by the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the 4th respondent to register the settlement deed at the private residence of the petitioner on production of all the required documents along with the medical certificate by the petitioner, within a week's time from the date of receipt of copy of this order, as per law, however, on payment of cost.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
