ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.P.R.Thiruneelakandan, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.S.Kamalesh Kannan, learned Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and Mr.S.M.Nandhie Devhan, learned counsel for respondent Nos.3 to 7.

2. The petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent authorities to remove the encroachment in the Forest land in Survey No.43/4 and in the Government land, which is situated in Survey No.49/3 at Palvalasa Village, Pallipattu Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

2. As far as Survey No.49/3 is concerned, the learned Government Advocate made a statement that they have started the process to remove the encroachment and the same will be completed within a period of two weeks from today. The learned Government Advocate further stated that as far as Survey No.43/4 is concerned, it pertains to the Forest land and they have already written a letter dated 22.02.2019 to the Forest Department to take necessary action to remove the encroachment.

3. In view of the above facts, at this stage no further directions are necessary in this writ petition and the writ petition is closed. No costs.
