ORDER

Mr.K.Ravichandran, The Tahsildar, Sriperumpudur Taluk, is present in Court, as per the direction issued earlier.

2.It is submitted by Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate that the Sub-Collector has passed necessary orders to restore the entry as it stood originally in the revenue records and consequential orders will be passed within two weeks.

3.The Tahsildar, who is present in Court submits that consequential orders will be implemented and necessary corrections will be made in the revenue entry within two weeks.

4.This Court directs the respondent to file counter affidavit in the main writ petition within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Recording the submission of the respondent - contemner, this contempt petition is closed with a direction to abide by the undertaking given and pass

consequential orders restoring the revenue entries within two weeks.

6.With the above direction, this contempt petition is closed. In the event of non-compliance, liberty is granted to the learned counsel for the petitioner to restore the contempt petition by mentioning the same before the Court. No costs.
