This Original Petition coming on this day before this Court for hearing the court made the following oder: The petitioner seeks issuance of succession certificate in respect of the securities mentioned in the schedule to the petition which stood in the name of A.Lawrence Victor, who died unmarried on 08.10.2016.

2. The petitioner is the brother of the deceased. The petitioner has been examined as P.W.1, he has produced the death certificate of his deceased brother as Ex.P1. The death certificates of the parents of the deceased have been produced as Exs.P2 and P3. The petitioner has also deposed that Lawrence Victor died unmarried. Being the brother, the petitioner is entitled to succeed the estate in the absence of any other heir.

3. In view of the said evidence, this petition is allowed directing issuance of succession certificate in respect of the securities mentioned in the schedule in to the petition in favour of the petitioner.
