The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that the case of the writ petitioner was considered with reference to the Standing Order and the Adjutant 97 Battalion recommended the case of the writ petitioner to the Commandant, 97 Battalion, RAF/CRPF, Avadi, Chennai, in proceedings dated 28.08.2018, wherein and whereby, it is mentioned that "His case is genuine. AC (MIN) & EC-1 to put up his case with recommendation to be posted 97 BN RAF".
2.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner further states that the case of the writ petitioner was forwarded for passing final orders before the competent authorities and the orders are awaited.
3.Under these circumstances, the respondents are directed to take a decision and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
