O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to file a final report in Crime No.296 of 2012. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.296 of 2012 on 07.11.2012 under Sections 147, 148, 435, 436, 427 and 307 IPC r/w Sections 3(1)(x), 3(2)(iii) and 3(2)(iv) of SC/ST Act and Section 3(i) of PPD Act. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer. 4.Today, Mrs.R.Valarmathi Sub-Inspector of Police, CBCID Dharmapuri is present before this Court.

5. Pursuant to the death of one Ilavarasan a case in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Krishnapuram Police Station, Crime No.296 of 2012 was registered on 07.11.2012 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 435, 436, 427 and 307 IPC r/w Sections 3(1)(x), 3(2)(iii) and 3(2) (iv) of SC/ST Act and Section 3(i) of PPD Act. Since, the case generated public outcry, it was transferred to the file of the CBCID, Dharmapuri District. Though, the name of the petitioner did not figure in the FIR, he was arrested by the police during the course of investigation and was later released on bail. While so, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

6.On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted that the investigation in Crime No.296 of 2012 was completed by the CBCID and the name of the petitioner was deleted in the Charge Sheet and Charge Sheet has also been filed on 30.08.2016 before the Principal District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for SC/ST Act cases), Dharmapuri.

Recording the same, this petition is closed.
