Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, direct the 2nd respondent to issue Patta to the petitioner vide his online Application No.2017/ 0105/01/084193 dated 18.09.2017 and reminder application dated 11.05.2018 in respect of the Vacant house site, bearing Plot No.9, Parvathipuram Part-III, comprised in Punjai Survey No.14/2, (now subdivided as 14/2A1A1A1) situated at No.40, Chettimedu Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District, measuring to an extent of 1800 sq.ft., within a time fixed by this Court.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue him patta vide his online Application No.2017/ 0105/01/084193 dated 18.09.2017 and reminder application dated 11.05.2018 in respect of the vacant house site situated at No.40, Chettimedu Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District within a time frame. 3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted an application dated 18.09.2017 and reminder dated 11.05.2018 claiming the relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the same are yet to be disposed of by the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the second respondent be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders in accordance with law.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 18.09.2017 and reminder dated 11.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
