(Order of the Court made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner prays that directions be issued to respondent no.1 viz., The Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, Chennai and respondent no.2 viz., The Estate Officer - 4, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, Chennai to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2018 submitted by the petitioner in relation to Plot No.38A, Nallan Street, Vanniya Teynampet, Chennai - 600 018.

2.Though notice was served on the 3rd respondent, there is no representation for the 3rd respondent.
3.The learned counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the 3rd respondent had encroached a portion of the land, which was allotted to the petitioner and that the 1st respondent would take appropriate action for removal of the encroachment. The learned counsel for the respondent nos.1 & 2 also stated that respondent no.1 is the Competent Authority to dispose of the representation preferred by the petitioner. He further submitted that the said representation will be decided within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 & 2, we direct the 1st respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2018 within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
