Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent/State Information Commission, to take action on the petitioner's Non-Compliance Petition dt.05.09.2018 vide No.NC/784/2018 submitted under Rule 10 of the Tamil Nadu Information Commission (Apeal Procedure) Rules, with reference to the order made in S.A.No.808/SCIC/2016 dt.26.07.2018. O R D E R

The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondentState Information Commission to comply with the petition dated 05.09.2018, which is submitted under Rule 10 of the Tamil Nadu Information Commission (Appeal Procedure) Rules.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that since there is urgency, the petition made by the petitioner on 05.09.2018, may be directed to be complied with by the respondent, as expeditiously as possible. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent states that normally it will take about two to six months to comply with the request made. He would further submit that the respondent shall comply with the request of the petitioner, as early as possible.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and as the petitioner expressed urgency, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to comply with the request of the petitioner dated 05.09.2018, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
