O R D E R

(Order of the Court made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The above Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 14.09.2018 to close the educational loan obtained by his daughter, R.Mathivathani, during the year 2007-2012.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation dated 14.09.2018 to the respondent bank for One Time Settlement https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(OTS) Scheme and that the respondent-bank has not considered the same yet. .

3. It is settled position that the respondent-bank cannot be compelled to accept the OTS proposal given by the petitioner. The petitioner should approach the respondent-bank for arriving at a settlement and a Mandamus cannot be issued for the said purpose.
