This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been to condone the delay of 357 days in filing Cross Objection Sr.No.107159 of 2018.

2. Heard Mr.C.Thangaraju, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Vijayaraghavan, learned counsel for the respondents.

3. Mr.N.Vijayaraghavan, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the claimant is not entitled for the interest for the period of delay in filing the Cross objection.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side and having considered the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is ordered, however, it is made clear that the claimant is not entitled for the interest for the delay i.e., 357 days in filing the Cross objection. 17.03.2023 mp Note: Registry is directed to number the Cross Objection and list for hearing on 06.04.2023.
