Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to approve and regularise the petitioner's appointment as Assistant Professor in Biological Science in St. Justin's College of Education, in the sanctioned retirement vacancy of Mrs.Amali Megala with effect from 1.8.2018 in the light of approval given by the first respondent to the similarly placed persons like Sr.S.Marthal in WP No.30247 of 2017 dated 23.11.2017 in Na.Ka.No.3361/G2/2018 dated 6.2.2018 with monetary and all other attendant and service benefits based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 29.8.2018. The learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, states that the grievance of the writ petitioner has been already redressed and in this regard, the Director of Collegiate Education issued an order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
in proceedings dated 20.2.2019, granting approval of appointment in favour of the writ petitioner. Thus, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
