O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.On the complaint lodged by one Revathi, a regular FIR in Jalakandapuram Police Station Crime No.188 of 2018 has been registered on 23.09.2018 for man missing. It is case of Revathi that her husband Sakthivel has gone missing. Since, the petitioner's name is also Sekthivel, the Police have called him for enquiry.

4.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and cooperate with the police for enquiry. During the enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
