ORDER

Mr.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to correct his wife's Death Certificate by showing his name in the Death Certificate as husband.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 16.04.2018 to the respondent, seeking to rectify the mistakes occurred in his wife's death certificate, but, the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent would rectify the errors crept-in in the death certificate, within the time https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
