Prayer:This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with a prayer to issue a writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent dated 28.06.2018 and quash the same and thereby forbear the respondents from further proceeding with the acquisition in respect of the petitioners lands in Old No.2, New No.3, R.K.Mutt Road, Luz Corner, Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004 bearing S.No.3327. The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent, dated 28.06.2018 and quash the same and thereby forbear the respondents from further proceeding with the acquisition in respect of the petitioners' land in Old No.2, New No.3, R.K.Mutt Road, Luz Corner, Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004 bearing S.No.3327.

Mr.A.R.Karthik Lakshmanan, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the 2nd respondent had issued a Form-A show cause notice, in purported exercise of powers under Section 3 (2) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 dated

28.06.2018, and hence prayer in this Writ Petition has become infructous and now the respondent Nos.1 to 3/Requisitioning body are no more in requirement of the said properties permanently and therefore, under these circumstances and recording the submissions of the petitioners' counsel, this writ petition stands dismissed.
