The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in Crl.M.P.No.15148 of 2018 on 10.09.2018 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai on certain conditions, one of which is that, the petitioner should surrender before the VII Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. According to the petitioner, he received the order on 12.09.2018. He was unable to surrender within 15 days, since he was not able to get necessary sureties. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court for extension of time.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.
3.Accepting the submission, time period fixed in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Crl.M.P.No.15148 of 2018 dated 10.09.2018 is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Rest of the conditions shall remain the same.
With the above direction, this petition is ordered accordingly.
