This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure to withdraw the case i.e. H.M.O.P.No.141 of 2018 pending on the file of the Family Court, Nagercoil and transfer the same to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai.

2. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner as well as for the respondent. It appears that on 07.01.2019, due to the nonrepresentation on behalf of the petitioner, this Court directed the Registry to list the matter under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
