Respondents PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle the petitioner's retirement benefits including Provident Fund, Gratuity,Social Welfare fund, IRT amount and DA arrears with interest at the rate of not less than 18% per annum payable from the date of retirement and consequently directing the Respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18% per annum for the belated settlement of retirement benefits to the petitioner payable from the date of retirement i.e.30.04.2018 to till date of actual payment to the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents to pay him all the retirement benefits including Provident Fund, Gratuity, Social Welfare fund, IRT amount and DA arrears with interest at the rate of not less than 18% per annum for the belated settlement of retirement benefits payable to him from the date of retirement i.e., 30.04.2018 to till the date of settlement of the same, by the respondents.

During the course of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner is covered by the decision of this Court rendered in WP Nos.26370 to 26379 of 2018 placing reliance on which again another WP No.20048 of 2018 has also been disposed of with an order to extend such retirement benefit and as such, the respondents be directed to extend the retirement benefits to the petitioner in term of the order passed in the aforesaid writ petitions.

Mr.P.Kannan Kumar, learned Standing Counsel who accepts notice on behalf of respondents against whom the relief sought for submits that they do not dispute the fact that the case of the petitioner is covered by the aforesaid decision rendered by this Court.

Therefore, considering the aforesaid submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court dispose of this writ petition at the stage of admission without seeking any reply affidavit, with a direction to the respondents to extend the retirement benefits in installments to the petitioner in terms of the order passed in WP Nos.26370 to 26379 of 2018 batch which was also followed in WP No.20048 of 2018. However, the first installment shall commence within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
