respondent to delete the entries relating to the said documents from the encumbrance certificate A register maintained by the third respondent pertaining to Nanjai Lands in Kancheepuram District, Chengalpattu Taluk, Siruseri Village, comprised in Survey No.164/1A measuring 0.23 Acres, Survey No.164/1B measuring 2.07 Acres, Survey No.165 measuring 1.05 Acres, Survey No.170/3 measuring 0.80 Acres, totally measuring 4.15 acres, situated at Siruseri Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District, within the sub registration District of Thiruporur and Registrationf Chengalpattu. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the cancellation deed in Document No.8828 of 2014 dated 24.6.2014, on the file of the third respondent and the records pertaining to the subsequent settlement deed in Document No.8829 of 2014 dated 24.6.2014, on the file of third respondent and consequently direct the third respondent to delete the entries relating to the said documents from the encumbrance certificate ''A'' register maintained by the third respondent pertaining to Nanjai Lands in Kancheepuram District, Chengalpattu Taluk, Siruseri Village, comprised in Survey No.164/1A measuring 0.23 Acres, Survey No.164/1B measuring 2.07 Acres, Survey No.165 measuring 1.05 Acres, Survey No.170/3 measuring 0.80 Acres, totally measuring 4.15 acres, situated at Siruseri Village, Chengalpattu Taluk,

Kancheepuram District, within the sub registration District of Thiruporur and Registrationf Chengalpattu.

2. During pendency of the writ petition, the respondents 4 & 6 died. The petitioner has not taken any steps to bring the legal heirs on record. Hence, this Court granted time for filing LR petition in respect of the deceased respondents. Again the matter was adjourned today. Even today, there is no application filed. The petitioner has not shown any interest to contest the case.

3. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
