... Respondents Contempt petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order dated 24.11.2017 passed by this Court in W.A.No.563 of 2017.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.Sundresh,J.) Alleging that the order passed by this Court dated 24.11.2017 in W.A.No.563 of 2017 has not been complied with by the contemnor, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has submitted that the order passed by this Court in W.A.No.563 of 2017 dated 24.11.2017 has been complied with and has also produced a copy of the proceeding dated 27.06.2019 in Rc.No.39404/H3/2012. He has also filed an affidavit and in paragraph 11, it has been stated as follows.

"11. It is submitted that the Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceeding Chennai was appointed as enquiry officer. The enquiry officer submitted his finding report that all the 2 charges against the petitioner were not proved. Based on the findings of the Enquiry Officer and also the circumstance that lead to initiate of

the Disciplinary Proceeding against the petitioner, the second Respondent came to the conclusion that charges made against the petitioner, under 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rule and also under Tamil Nadu Pension Rule 9(2)(b)(1) were not proved and further dropped the Disciplinary Proceeding initiated against the Petitioner vide G.O.No.4, Tamil Development and Information (S&P) Department dated 04.01.2019. In this connection Principal Secretary and Commission of Treasury and Accounts has been informed about the dropping of charge against the petitioner and for the release balance with held amount in DCRG."

4. In view of the above, the contempt petition stands closed.
