This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to Crime No.1388 of 2012 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the 1st respondent police, submitted that the investigation in Crime No.1388 of 2012 has been completed and a charge sheet has been filed on 02.02.2017 before the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore at Allikulam, Chennai, however, the same has not been taken on file.
3. Recording the same, this Court directs the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate to look into this matter and take on file, the charge sheet in Crime No.1388 of 2012, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
