Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to decide I.A.No.1322 of 2015 in R.P.No.84 of 2009 in D.R.C No.22 of 2009 on merits and in accordance with law within three months.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The grievance of the petitioner is that I.A.No.1322 of 2015 in R.P.No.84 of 2009 in D.R.C No.22 of 2009, which is pending before the Recovery Officer, Debts Recovery Tribunal, Coimbatore, has not been decided, though a long period has elapsed since filing of the said application.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed that directions be issued to the third respondent to dispose of the said application expeditiously.

3. In view of the prayer made, without going into the merits of the matter, the third respondent is requested to dispose of I.A.No.1322 of 2015 in R.P.No.84 of 2009 in D.R.C No.22 of 2009, within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
