This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.118 of 2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.118 of 2018 on 09.04.2018 under Section 379 IPC against unknown accused. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

4.Taking into consideration the fact that the accused has not yet been traced, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation within a time bound manner. However, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.118 of 2018 expeditiously https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure Report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
