This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.379 of 2018.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.379 of 2018 on 21.07.2018 under Sections 406, 420 and 506 (i) IPC. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.
4.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a time bound manner. However, the respondent police are directed to complete the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
investigation in Crime No.379 of 2018, expeditiously and either file a charge sheet or a closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided there is no any legal impediment.
